The artist Sir Peter Blake has updated his iconic Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club
Band album cover to commemorate his 80th birthday.
Blake’s original design for The Beatles’ record sleeve featured a
collection of famous faces and proved a huge hit on its 1967 release.His new version includes Sir Elton John, Dame Helen Mirren, Amy Winehouse, and members of his family. Sir Peter has been quoted for saying “I chose people I admire and some dear friends.”
